Paws on Parade is growing!
Bangor Humane Society is celebrating our 32nd Annual Paws on Parade and we need your help to make it a huge success! This is our largest fundraiser each year and the money we raise is critical to providing humane treatment and successful adoptions for more than 2,000 animals each year. Our goal is to raise $115,000 to support the shelter and the more than 2,000 dogs, cats, and small animals we see each year. Whether you sponsor the event, register to walk, or donate, every dollar makes a difference in the life of a furry friend.
PLUS- We are proud to announce that Paws on Parade now includes Paws on the Green, a second, super-fun event that supports the animals of Bangor Humane Society! Join us for one event, or both!

On Saturday, October 4, 2025, we’re returning to our old stomping grounds-The Bangor Waterfront! Our theme this year is ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE and we hope both humans and canines will dress up as their favorite rock stars or sport their best concert gear. Enjoy vendors, lots of chances to win some great prizes, and the largest community dog-walk in the area while you support the animals of Bangor Humane Society.

Sunday, August 10, 2025 at Hermon Meadow Golf Club! Please join us for a fun day of golfing and camaraderie as we raise money for the animals of Bangor Humane Society. We’ll serve a BBQ lunch and host some silly golf-themed games & a silent auction! Make sure you bring some cash so you don’t miss out on the Casino Hole, Putting Contest, and any other goofy golfing fun we can dream up.
