We are excited to have you join us for our 26th Paws on Parade, an event that has become an annual tradition of saving lives.

Our Paws on Parade event features a variety of sponsors, vendors, and highlights such as a pet costume contest and shelter dog runway show.

Every year, hundreds of walkers gather in celebration of their own pets to help raise instrumental funds to support the homeless pets who find refuge at the Bangor Humane Society, while they await their new forever homes. This year we celebrate 150 years of saving lives and creating families. And, we need you to help us Bark for the Future so, together, we can continue our life-saving work in the community!

Simply register by yourself, with your pup or with a group to join our parade of paws! Don’t have a dog to walk? Or have a dog that doesn’t like a big crowd of other dogs? Or, perhaps you are more of a cat person? No problem, dogs are not required to participate and every dollar raised supports ALL the animals in our care.

After you register, collect donations from friends, colleagues and family members to help us hit our $100K goal! Thank you in advance for joining us to help homeless pets in our community!
